Technology Thursday

 Oh yea!! I love technology so when I saw this Linky Party I was super excited!  This week I had my students doing research about spiders because we were reading the book Diary of a Spider.  Some of you may have already heard of this site, but I just discovered this search engine designed for students.  I like it because it limits the amount of results that students are able to see.  That means that a lot of inappropriate things are blocked.  So, next time you have a research project, try this site out.  I can't wait to see what other technology sites and apps you guys share.

    This looks like a great site. If only I could convince my students to actually use a search engine other than Google! Got any tips for that?! Thanks for sharing and linking up!

      Lol! It is VERY hard to stray away from Google! I just made an icon on the desktop and they know to click on that when they search.
